‌أَلَا ‌أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ؟

When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him

إِذَا أَحَبَّ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُخْبِرْهُ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّهُ

The major sins are associating partners with Allah, undutifulness to parents, murder, and intentional false oath

الْكَبَائِرُ: الْإِشْرَاكُ بِاللهِ، وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ، وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ، وَالْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ

Do not turn your houses like graves, and do not take my grave a place for celebration, and invoke (Allah's) blessings upon me, for your invoking of Allah's blessings upon me will reach me wherever you may be

السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ وَالمِسْكِينِ، كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوِ القَائِمِ اللَّيْلَ الصَّائِمِ النَّهَارَ

Whoever gives me a guarantee to safeguard what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I will guarantee him Paradise

اجْتَنِبُوا السَّبْعَ الْمُوبِقَاتِ

The best dhikr is lā ilāha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah), and the best supplication is Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah)

أَنَا أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ، مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ مَعِي غَيْرِي تَرَكْتُهُ وَشِرْكَهُ

Paradise is nearer to one of you than his shoelaces, and so is Hellfire

لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ قُبُورًا، وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا قَبْرِي عِيدًا، وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ؛ فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ تَبْلُغُنِي حَيْثُ كُنْتُمْ

No fatigue, disease, sorrow, sadness, harm, or distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were a prick of a thorn, but Allah will expiate some of his sins thereby

أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ

Hellfire is surrounded by lusts, and Paradise is surrounded by adversities

مَنْ لَقِيَ اللهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ لَقِيَهُ يُشْرِكُ بِهِ دَخَلَ النَّارَ

May Allah have mercy on a man who is lenient when he sells, when he buys, and when he asks for repayment of the debt

مَنْ يَضْمَنْ لِي مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ وَمَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ أَضْمَنْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةَ

There was a man who used to give loans to people. He would say to his servant: ‘When you come to an insolvent person, overlook his debt; perhaps Allah would overlook our sins.’

أَفْضَلُ الذِّكْرِ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ: الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ

Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.”

الْجَنَّةُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ شِرَاكِ نَعْلِهِ، وَالنَّارُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ

Verily, the reward of deeds depends on the intentions, and each person will be rewarded according to what he intended

الصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ، وَالْجُمُعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، وَرَمَضَانُ إِلَى رَمَضَانَ، مُكَفِّرَاتٌ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ إِذَا اجْتَنَبَ الْكَبَائِرَ

If only you rely upon Allah the way you should, He will provide for you as He provides for birds: They set out hungry in the morning and return with full bellies in the evening

مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حُزْنٍ وَلَا أَذًى وَلَا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness

حُجِبَتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ، وَحُجِبَتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ

Do you know what backbiting is?" They said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "It is to say of your brother what he dislikes

حَقُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ خَمْسٌ: رَدُّ السَّلَامِ، وَعِيَادَةُ الْمَرِيضِ، وَاتِّبَاعُ الْجَنَائِزِ، وَإِجَابَةُ الدَّعْوَةِ، وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ

Beware of false thought, for false thought is the most untruth speech

رَحِمَ اللهُ رَجُلًا سَمْحًا إِذَا بَاعَ، وَإِذَا اشْتَرَى، وَإِذَا اقْتَضَى

All human beings are sinners, and the best of the sinners are the frequent repenters

كان رجلٌ يُدَايِنُ الناسَ، فكان يقول لفتاه: إذا أتيتَ مُعسِرًا فتجاوز عنه، لعل اللهَ يَتجاوزُ عنا

Every act of goodness is charity

من خَرج في طلب العلم فهو في سَبِيلِ الله حتى يرجع

The strong man is not the one who can overpower others; rather, the strong man is the one who controls himself when he is angry

إِذَا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ

Whoever guides to a good deed will get the same reward as the doer of that deed

إِنَّ الْحَلَالَ بَيِّنٌ وَإِنَّ الْحَرَامَ بَيِّنٌ

The nearest a slave to his Lord is while he is prostrating, so increase supplication

إِنَّ اللهَ كَتَبَ الْإِحْسَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say what is good or keep silent

إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ

Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah Almighty does not show mercy to him

إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى

The most beloved speech to Allah are four: subhān Allah (glory be Allah), al-hamdulillāh (praise be to Allah), la ilāha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah), and Allāhu akbar (Allah is the Most Great), and it does not matter which one of them you start with

لَا تَغْضَبْ

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the foremost deed that leads people to Paradise, and he replied: "Fear of Allah and good character

لَو أَنَّكُمْ تَتَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ، لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ، تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا

Modesty is part of faith

أَذْنَبَ عَبْدٌ ذَنْبًا، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي

There are two words that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and dear to the Most Merciful

إِنَّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَلَى مَنَابِرَ مِنْ نُورٍ، عَنْ يَمِينِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَكِلْتَا يَدَيْهِ يَمِينٌ

Nothing is more honorable in the sight of Allah Almighty than supplication

مَنْ يُحْرَمِ الرِّفْقَ يُحْرَمِ الْخَيْرَ

Whoever protects the honor of his brother in his absence, Allah will protect his face from the Fire on the Day of Judgment

أَتَدْرُونَ مَا الْغِيبَةُ؟»، قَالُوا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: «ذِكْرُكَ أَخَاكَ بِمَا يَكْرَهُ

Whoever says ‘subhān Allah wa bihamdih (glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him)’ one hundred times a day, his sins will be erased, even if they were as much as the foam of the sea

إِنَّ رِجَالًا يَتَخَوَّضُونَ فِي مَالِ اللهِ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ، فَلَهُمُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

When Allah intends good for someone, He grants him the understanding of the religion

إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ؛ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ

Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous

كل بني آدم خطاء، وخير الخطائين التوابون

The most perfect believer in terms of his faith is the one who has the most excellent manners, and the best of you are those who are best to their womenfolk

كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ

Verily, lenience is not found in anything but it adorns it, and it is not removed from anything but it makes it defective

لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ مِنَ الْمَعْرُوفِ شَيْئًا، وَلَوْ أَنْ تَلْقَى أَخَاكَ بِوَجْهٍ طَلْقٍ

Allah is pleased with one who eats some food and praises Him for it, or drinks some drink and praises Him for it

لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ، إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ

Verily, a believer can attain, by his good manners, the rank of one who fasts and prays often

مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ

Make matters easy and do not make them difficult, and give people glad tidings and do not drive them away

لَا تَسُبُّوا الْأَمْوَاتَ، فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ أَفْضَوْا إِلَى مَا قَدَّمُوا

None of you truly believes until I become dearer to him than his father, his children, and all people

لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ، يَلْتَقِيَانِ، فَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا، وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلَامِ

Whoever recites the last two verses of Sūrat al-Baqarah at a night, they will suffice him

لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطِعُ رَحِمٍ

Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will be credited with a good deed for it, and a good deed is multiplied tenfold

لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ

Whoever is attached to something will be entrusted to that thing

مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُبْسَطَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ، وَيُنْسَأَ لَهُ فِي أَثَرِهِ، فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ

Those who are merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to the inhabitants of earth and the One in the heaven will be merciful to you

أَقْرَبُ مَا يَكُونُ الْعَبْدُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ، فَأَكْثِرُوا الدُّعَاءَ

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade qaza‘ (shaving part of one's head and leaving other parts unshaven)

مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

O boy, mention Allah's name, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearer to you

مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمْهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

Show reverence to Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) by honoring his family members.

إِنَّ أَبْغَضَ الرِّجَالِ إِلَى اللهِ الْأَلَدُّ الْخَصِمُ

Life in this world is sweet and green, and indeed, Allah has made you successors there to see how you will behave. So, be cautious of this world and be cautious of women

أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ

Modesty brings nothing but good

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْثَرِ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ، فَقَالَ: «تَقْوَى اللهِ وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would often say: "O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion

الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ

Allah, the Exalted, says: "My reward shall be nothing less than Paradise for My faithful servant who, if I take the life of his beloved one from the inhabitants of the world, he bears it patiently in expectation of My reward."

الدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ

Do not supplicate against yourselves, do not supplicate against your children, and do not supplicate against your property, lest you do it at a time in which Allah answers all supplications so you will be granted what you asked for

عَلَيْكُمْ بِالصِّدْقِ، فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْبِرِّ، وَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

Your supplication is answered as long as one of you is not in haste, saying: I have supplicated to my Lord, but He has not yet answered me

كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ، ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ، حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ

The nearest the Lord to a servant is in the course of the last part of the night

لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَكْرَمَ عَلَى اللهِ تَعَالَى مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ

The best dinar a man spends is a dinar that he spends on his dependents, and a dinar that a man spends on his mount in the cause of Allah, and a dinar that he spends on his companions in the cause of Allah

مَنْ رَدَّ عَنْ عِرْضِ أَخِيهِ رَدَّ اللهُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ النَّارَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

How astonishing the believer's affair is! Indeed, all of his affairs are good, and this is for none but the believer

مَنْ قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ، حُطَّتْ خَطَايَاهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

Do not take my grave as a place of festivity (which you visit repeatedly), and do not take your houses as graves. Send blessings upon me, for your greeting will reach me no matter where you are

مَنْ قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، عَشْرَ مِرَارٍ

When you put on clothes and when you perform ablution, you should begin with your right side

مَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ

Whoever provides for two girls until they reach puberty, he will come on the Day of Judgment, me and him," and he joined his fingers

إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الْعَبْدَ التَّقِيَّ الْغَنِيَّ الْخَفِيَّ

Which deed is dearest to Allah? He said: "Offering prayer at its earliest appointed time." I said: Then, what comes next? He said: "Dutifulness to one's parents." I said: Then, what comes next? He said: "Jihad in the way of Allah

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَرُدُّ الطِّيبَ

Who is that who swears that I will not forgive so-and-so? Indeed, I have forgiven him and rendered worthless your deeds

أَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا، وَخَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِنِسَائِهِمْ

No soul gets killed wrongfully without the first son of Adam taking guilt for its blood because he was the first to institute the practice of murder

إِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَا يَكُونُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ، وَلَا يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ

One may utter a word thoughtlessly and, as a result of this, he will fall down into Hellfire for a distance greater than the distance between the east and the west

إِنَّ اللهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْأَكْلَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا، أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا

Whoever says (upon leaving his house) "In the name of Allah; I rely on Allah; there is no might and no power save in Allah", it will be said to him: "You are guided, sufficed, and protected", and the devil will go far away from him

إنَّ المُؤْمِنَ ليُدرِكُ بِحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ دَرَجَةَ الصَّائِمِ القَائِمِ

When anyone of you meets his brother, let him greet him with peace. If a tree, a wall, or a rock comes between them and then he meets him, let him greet him with peace again.

إِنَّ مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ أَحْسَنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا

I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is salvation? He said: "Control your tongue, abide in your house, and weep over your sin

إِنَّ اللهَ لَيُمْلِي لِلظَّالِمِ، حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ

I am as My slave thinks of Me and I am with him when he remembers Me

مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدِي فِتْنَةً أَضَرَّ عَلَى الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ

Were this world worth a wing of a mosquito in the sight of Allah, He would not have given the disbeliever a drink of water thereof

يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا

May his nose be rubbed in dust, then may his nose be rubbed in dust, and may his nose be rubbed in dust." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, who? He said: "The one whose parents, one of them or both, reach old age in his life yet he does not enter Paradise

مَنْ نَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يَرْتَحِلَ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ ذَلِكَ

Al-Mufarridūn have gone far ahead

لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

Every Ummah has a trial, and the trial of my Ummah is wealth

لَأَنْ أَقُولَ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ

All of my Ummah may be forgiven except those who commit sin openly

مَنْ قَرَأَ بِالْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ

No slave covers another slave in this world except that Allah would cover him on the Day of Judgment

مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ فَلَهُ بِهِ حَسَنَةٌ، وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا

Let none of you die except while having good expectations of Allah

من تعلق شيئا وُكل إليه

All that is left from Prophet-hood is the glad tidings

الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهمُ الرَّحمنُ، ارحَمُوا أهلَ الأرضِ يَرْحْمْكُم مَن في السّماء

This world in comparison with the Hereafter is like the amount of water one of you gets when he dips his finger in the sea. Let him see what his finger returns with

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْقَزَعِ

The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember His Lord is like the example of the living and the dead person

كُنَّا عِنْدَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ: «نُهِينَا عَنِ التَّكَلُّفِ

Verily, among the things I fear the most for you after me is the splendor and adornment of this worldly life when they become plentifully available to you

مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ صِدْقًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ

O Messenger of Allah, who is the most entitled among people to my good companionship? He said: Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father, and then those who are the closest to you

يَا غُلَامُ، سَمِّ اللهَ، وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ

Whoever has seen me in a dream will see me when he is awake – or it is as if he has seen me while he is awake; the devil does not take my shape

إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَإِذَا شَرِبَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ

The dead person is followed by three: His family, his wealth and his deeds. Then two of them come back: His family and his wealth, and there remain only his deeds

الطُّهُورُ شَطْرُ الْإِيمَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ تَمْلَآنِ -أَوْ تَمْلَأُ- مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ

The one who is riding should greet the one walking, the one who is walking should greet the one sitting, and the small group of people should greet the large one

ينزل ربنا تبارك وتعالى كل ليلة إلى السماء الدنيا حين يبقى ثلث الليل الآخر

Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed and it will erase it, and treat people with good morals

يُوشِكُ الأممُ أن تَدَاعى عليكم كما تداعى الأَكَلةُ إلى قصعتها

Be indifferent to worldly life, and Allah will love you; and be indifferent to what people have, and people will love you

فَإِنَّ حَقَّ اللَّهِ عَلَى العِبَادِ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَحَقَّ العِبَادِ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ لا يُعَذِّبَ مَنْ لا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا

Allah, Blessed and Exalted, accepts the slave's repentance as long as the death rattle has not yet reached his throat

مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ

Verily, Allah Almighty extends His Hand during the night so the sinner of the day may repent, and He extends His Hand during the day so the sinner of the night may repent until the sun rises from its west

قُلْ لِي فِي الْإِسْلَامِ قَوْلًا لَا أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ أَحَدًا غَيْرَكَ، قَالَ: «قُلْ: آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَقِمْ

A man asked the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) about fasting while traveling. He answered: If you wish then fast, and if you wish then do not fast

إِنَّ اللهَ سَيُخَلِّصُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Verily, some of what reached people from the speech of the early prophets: If you feel no shame, then do whatever you wish

لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ أَرْسَلَ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

Be in this world as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer

عليكم بتقوى الله، والسمع والطاعة، وإن عبدًا حبشيًّا، وسترون من بعدي اختلافًا شديدًا، فعليكم بسنتي وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين

Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah

إِذَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ أَحَدُكُمُ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ

None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself

قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى: قَسَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي نِصْفَيْنِ، وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ

Whoever repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah will accept his repentance

يَا عَبَّاسُ، يَا عَمَّ رَسُولِ اللهِ، سَلِ اللَّهَ العَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ

Shall I not inform of whom Hellfire is forbidden for? Or he is forbidden for Hellfire? It is forbidden for someone who is accessible, lenient, tender, and easy to get along with

لاَ تَلْبَسُوا الحَرِيرَ وَلاَ الدِّيبَاجَ، وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالفِضَّةِ، وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا فِي صِحَافِهَا، فَإِنَّهَا لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَنَا فِي الآخِرَةِ

Injustice will be excessive darkness on the Day of Judgment

مَنْ لَبِسَ الحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ

Whoever listens to the talk of some people while they dislike that, molten lead shall be poured into his ears on the Day of Judgment

أَمَا إِنِّي لَمْ أَسْتَحْلِفْكُمْ تُهْمَةً لَكُمْ، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُبَاهِي بِكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ

Shall I inform you about the most beloved words by Allah? They are: Glory belongs to Allah and praise is due to Him

إِنَّهُمَا لَيُعَذَّبَانِ، وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَكَانَ لاَ يَسْتَتِرُ مِنَ البَوْلِ، وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ

The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned, but he does not invoke Allah's blessings upon me

دَعْهُمَا، فَإِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا طَاهِرَتَيْنِ

The one who is afraid (of the pillage of the enemy) sets out in the early part of the night, and the one who sets out early will reach his destination. Verily, the commodity of Allah is precious. Verily, the commodity of Allah is Paradise

يا رسول الله، أيرقد أحدنا وهو جنب؟ قال: نعم، إذا توضأ أحدكم فليرقد

By the One in Whose hand my soul is, if you were not to commit sins, Allah would replace you with people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty, who would then forgive them

إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلْ فِي أَنْفِهِ ثُمَّ لِيَنْثُرْ، وَمَنِ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you

إِذَا دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْتَهُ، فَذَكَرَ اللهَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ وَعِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ، قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ: لَا مَبِيتَ لَكُمْ، وَلَا عَشَاءَ

Supplication between the Adhān (call to prayer) and the Iqāmah (second call to prayer) is not rejected

ارقبوا محمدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم في أهل بيته

O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the removal of Your favor, the change of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your calamity, and all of Your wrath
