بني الإسلام على خمس

Verily, Allah gets jealous and the believer gets jealous. The jealousy of Allah is when the believer commits what He has made unlawful for him

إن أحدكم يجمع خلقه في بطن أمه أربعين يوما

The thing that I fear most for you is minor Shirk (polytheism).' They said: 'What is minor Shirk, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'It is Riyā’

من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد

Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the son of Mary, for I am only His slave. So, call me the slave of Allah and His Messenger

ما نهيتكم عنه فاجتنبوه، وما أمرتكم به فافعلوا منه ما استطعتم

Ruined are the extremists

إن الله طيب لا يقبل إلا طيبا، وإن الله أمر المؤمنين بما أمر به المرسلين

Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.”

يا غلام إني أعلمك كلمات: احفظ الله يحفظك، احفظ الله تجده تجاهك، إذا سألت فاسأل الله، وإذا استعنت فاستعن بالله

O boy, I shall teach you some words: Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask Allah; if you seek help, seek help from Allah

قل لي في الإسلام قولا لا أسأل عنه أحدا غيرك، قال: قل: آمنت بالله، ثم استقم

Whoever imitates a people is one of them

أرأيت إذا صليت المكتوبات، وصمت رمضان، وأحللت الحلال، وحرمت الحرام

You will see your Lord as you see this moon, you will not have any difficulty in seeing Him

أوصيكم بتقوى الله، والسمع والطاعة، وإن تأمر عليكم عبد، فإنه من يعش منكم بعدي فسيرى اختلافا كثيرا، فعليكم بسنتي وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين

Whoever is attached to something will be entrusted to that thing

لقد سألت عن عظيم، وإنه ليسير على من يسره الله عليه

Whoever says 'lā ilāha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah)' and disbelieves in everything worshiped besides Allah, his property and blood becomes inviolable, and his reckoning will be with Allah

إن الله كتب الحسنات والسيئات، ثم بين ذلك

Those who are merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to the inhabitants of earth and the One in the heaven will be merciful to you

إن الله تعالى قال: من عادى لي وليا فقد آذنته بالحرب، وما تقرب إلي عبدي بشيء أحب إلي مما افترضت عليه

The first cases to be settled among people on the Day of Judgement will be the cases of blood (homicide)

لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يكون هواه تبعا لما جئت به

A man follows the religion (i.e. ways and manners) of his close friend. So, each of you should carefully consider whom he takes as his intimate friend

أربع من كن فيه كان منافقا، وإن كانت خصلة منهن فيه كانت فيه خصلة من النفاق حتى يدعها: من إذا حدث كذب، وإذا وعد أخلف، وإذا خاصم فجر، وإذا عاهد غدر

Verily, you will follow those before you, span by span and cubit by cubit

والذي نفس محمد بيده لا يسمع بي أحد من هذه الأمة يهودي ولا نصراني، ثم يموت ولم يؤمن بالذي أرسلت به إلا كان من أصحاب النار

O people, beware of immoderation in religion, for those before you were doomed because of immoderation in religion

لعنة الله على اليهود والنصارى، اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد

The Kursi (footstool) in comparison to the Throne is only like an iron ring thrown in a desert on earth

اللهم لا تجعل قبري وثنا

I am as My slave thinks of Me and I am with him when he remembers Me

إن عظم الجزاء مع عظم البلاء، وإن الله تعالى إذا أحب قوما ابتلاهم؛ فمن رضي فله الرضى، ومن سخط فله السخط

No slave covers another slave in this world except that Allah would cover him on the Day of Judgment

أنا أغنى الشركاء عن الشرك، من عمل عملا أشرك فيه معي غيري تركته وشركه

When Allah created the creation, He wrote in a book, which is with Him over the Throne: Verily, My mercy predominates over My anger

إني أبرأ إلى الله أن يكون لي منكم خليل فإن الله تعالى قد اتخذني خليلا كما اتخذ إبراهيم خليلا

O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you

إن الله يغار، وإن المؤمن يغار، وغيرة الله أن يأتي المؤمن ما حرم عليه

Every person will be resurrected in the same state he died in

من حلف بغير الله فقد كفر أو أشرك

The strong believer is better and dearer to Allah than the weak believer, and there is good in both

إن أثقل صلاة على المنافقين صلاة العشاء وصلاة الفجر، ولو يعلمون ما فيهما لأتوهما ولو حبوا

The son of Adam tells a lie against Me and he has no right to do so; and he insults Me and has no right to do so

إن من شرار الناس من تدركه الساعة وهم أحياء، ومن يتخذ القبور مساجد

There is none among you except that Allah will speak to him, with no interpreter between Him and him

إن أخوف ما أخاف عليكم الشرك الأصغر قالوا: وما الشرك الأصغر يا رسول الله؟ قال: الرياء

Whoever incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us

أليس يحرمون ما أحل الله فتحرمونه؟ ويحلون ما حرم الله فتحلونه؟ فقلت: بلى، قال: فتلك عبادتهم

A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand Muslims are safe, and a Muhājir (emigrant) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden

إنك ستأتي قوما أهل كتاب، فإذا جئتهم فادعهم إلى أن يشهدوا أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدا رسول الله

The supplication of a Muslim for a fellow Muslim in his absence is answered

أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن النُّشرة؟ فقال: هي من عمل الشيطان

Allah, forgive my people for they do not know

لا تطروني كما أطرت النصارى ابن مريم؛ فإنما أنا عبده، فقولوا: عبد الله ورسوله

Zakariyya (Zechariah) (peace be upon him) was a carpenter

أسعد الناس بشفاعتي يوم القيامة، من قال لا إله إلا الله خالصا من قلبه أو نفسه

The places that are dearest to Allah are the mosques, and the places that are most hateful to Allah are the marketplaces

مَن ردته الطيرة عن حاجته فقد أشرك، قالوا: فما كفارة ذلك؟ قال: أن تقول: اللهم لا خير إلا خيرك، ولا طير إلا طيرك، ولا إله غيرك

All rights will be restored on the Day of Judgment, until even the hornless sheep will settle its score with the horned one

أدخله الله الجنة على ما كان من العمل

Anyone loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and anyone dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him

من لقي الله لا يشرك به شيئا دخل الجنة، ومن لقيه يشرك به دخل النار

Oxus, Jaxartes, Euphrates, and the Nile are all from the rivers of Paradise

من مات وهو يدعو من دون الله ندا دخل النار

The honorable son of the honorable son of the honorable son of the honorable, is Yūsuf, the son of Ya‘qūb, the son of Is'hāq, the son of Ibrahīm (peace be upon all of them)

هلك المتنطعون

When Allah intends to take a slave in a (particular) land, He gives him a reason to go there

في قول الله تعالى : (وَقَالُوا لا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلا سُوَاعًا وَلا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا) قال ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما : هذه أسماء رجال صالحين من قوم نوح

Read the Qur’an, as it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection

من أنظر معسرا، أو وضع له، أظله الله يوم القيامة تحت ظل عرشه يوم لا ظل إلا ظله

Whoever carries weapons against us is not one of us

من يرد الله به خيرا يصب منه

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the man who wears women's clothes and the woman who wears men's clothes
